General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Thailand Travelers

These General Terms and Conditions (AGB) govern the contractual relationship between you as the customer and Thailand Travelers, your tour operator for trips to Thailand. Please read these terms carefully as they contain important information about your rights and obligations.

 

1. Booking and Rebooking

1.1 Booking Process

The booking of a trip with Thailand Travelers can be made by the customer in writing, by telephone, or online. Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, the contract becomes binding. The customer will receive a booking confirmation containing all essential information about the trip.

1.2 Rebooking

Rebooking’s are generally possible but are subject to availability and may incur a seasonal surcharge. A rebooking fee may apply, depending on the specific conditions of the booked service.

1.3 Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for complying with the entry requirements of the respective countries and for ensuring the completeness and validity of travel documents, including passports, visas, and any other necessary documents.

 

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Organized Trips: Group and Combination Trips

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before departure: 50% of the booking price
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% of the booking price

2.2 Hotel Bookings

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before departure: 50% of the booking price
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% of the booking price

2.3 Car Rentals

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before departure: 50% of the booking price
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% of the booking price

2.4 Flight Bookings

  • Cancellation at any time: 100% of the booking price

2.5 Apartment and Villa Rentals

  • Cancellation at any time: 100% of the booking price

2.6 Activities (e.g., Day Tours)

  • Cancellation at any time: 100% of the booking price

 

3. Important Travel Information

3.1 Guaranteed Departure

Combination trips are guaranteed to take place regardless of the number of participants, allowing you to plan with confidence.

3.2 Transit and Entry

The same regulations apply for transit as for entry. Entry is possible with the following travel documents:

  • Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry.
  • Temporary Passport: Must also be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry.
  • Children’s Passport: The 6-month validity requirement applies.

Please ensure that your travel documents are complete, in good condition, and contain enough blank pages. They must be presented in original form and should not have been extended, updated, or manually altered.

3.3 Minimum Number of Participants for Organized Trips

Group trips are based on a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the excursions up to 30 days before departure.

3.4 Inclusive Services

Organized trips include all entrance fees and charges for the attractions listed in the itinerary unless otherwise stated.

3.5 Important Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance and travel health insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events.

3.6 Limited Mobility

Please note that this trip is generally not suitable for individuals with limited mobility. For detailed information, please contact our service team.

 

4. Liability and Disclaimer

4.1 Liability

Thailand Travelers is liable under statutory provisions for the proper provision of the contractually agreed travel services. Changes to travel services and deviations from the original itinerary are possible as long as they do not affect the overall character of the trip. These changes will be communicated in your travel confirmation.

4.2 Disclaimer

Thailand Travelers is not liable for disruptions in services caused by force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable and unavoidable events beyond our control. The customer is obligated to report any defects during the trip immediately so that corrective action can be taken.

 

5. Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this contract is Thailand.


These GTCs provide a thorough and legally sound framework for managing the relationship between Thailand Travelers and its customers, covering all critical aspects of travel arrangements, cancellations, liability, and customer responsibilities.
